ESPN enters 8-year deal to exclusively carry LaLiga games in the U.S. on ESPN+

Walt Disney Co's. ESPN reported an arrangement Friday where the games media organization's ESPN+ real time feature will be the new English-and Spanish-language transporter for LaLiga's main two expert soccer alliances in Spain for the following eight seasons. Beginning in August, and going through the 2028-2029 season, live LaLiga Santander and LaLiga SmartBank matches will be shown only on ESPN+. "This arrangement makes a genuine home for LaLiga in the U.S. for quite a long time to come and concretes ESPN+ as the head stage for soccer," said Russell Wolff, senior supervisor at ESPN+.
